Vince McMahon and everyone in WWE management must be giving each other high fives right now because the viewership numbers for Monday Night Raw’s 25th anniversary show were well above their average.
The show was watched by 4,350,000 viewers. Of course, that does not factor in DVR numbers and people that watch on Hulu so the actual overall viewership is much higher.
The 4,350,000 viewership number is their most watched show since the 4/28/14 episode of Raw.
Here is the hourly breakdown:
Hour 1 – 4,803,000
Hour 2 – 4,641,000
Hour 3 – 4,147,000
All three hours were way above the weekly average for the show. This could be good news for Sunday since this was also the go-home show for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. WWE promoted this show for weeks and they did a ton of media in recent days so everything they did clearly worked to help them get the big rating.
