Corey Graves was Booker T’s guest this week on the “Heated Conversations” radio show/podcast. Booker invited Graves on to clear the air. Graves said that he was getting phone calls and text messages last week when Booker ripped on him. Graves figured Booker was working him because he remembers seeing booker smiling backstage when he was told that he was off of Raw.
Graves said that he was entertained by how they were able to work the entire wrestling industry. Graves said, “some of the fans were so mad. I was getting terrible Twitter and Instagram messages and I’m laughing about it.” Graves told Michael Cole that they were just messing with each other. Graves said that the first text he got was from Big E asking him what happened because he thought that he was friends with Booker. Graves talked about Big E making fun of the “beef” on Smackdown Live (click here to see it).
Booker said that what happened was that they had about 12 minutes left on last week’s show so he just made up a story and that’s when everyone ran with it. Booker joked that Michael Cole was the person most upset. You can listen to the segment from Booker’s show by clicking on the video below:
