Neville famously walked out of WWE on the same night he was supposed to put Enzo Amore over and Kalisto ended up winning the Cruiserweight Title. After that it’s been rather quiet from Neville’s camp and he seems to be waiting out his WWE contract.
The King Of The Cruiserweights reportedly asked for his release but WWE didn’t give it to him. They did, however, put Neville’s merchandise in the clearance section of their official shop. WWE could always freeze his contract so he remains in pro wrestling limbo which isn’t something anyone wants to see. However, it looks like there could be some light at the end of the tunnel for hopes of Neville’s WWE return.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports communication is open once again between WWE and Neville about a possible return. The target is reported to be April at this point so it might only be a matter of time before we see Neville’s return to 205 Live. Since Triple H is in control of the show at this point, that might be an enticing enough fact to change Neville’s mind.
