Jim Ross is optimistic he will work WrestleMania

Everyone loves Good ‘ole JR and it’s always great to see the WWE Hall Of Famer no matter what he’s getting into, especially if he’s calling matches.

Jim Ross has a pretty stacked WrestleMania weekend with his appearances and other activities, but fans would still love it if he could participate in WrestleMania in some way.

“I’m very optimistic that I will be utilized in some way on Sunday in the [Super] Dome,” Jim Ross said on Wrestling Observer Radio. “That dome is a special place for me for a lot of reasons because my history goes back there a lot even before Crockett years […] that’s where we stayed every Thursday night in that Hyatt hotel across from the Super Dome as it was known then and that was our Thanksgiving and every week, that really endured me to my two previous wives not being home for Thanksgiving but nonetheless I was booked, honey.”

Jim Ross’ talents were used during The Undertaker’s match last year as Roman Reigns defeated The Dead Man to close out WrestleMania 33. Only time will tell how WWE will use JR at the Show Of Shows this year. Let’s just hope he makes the show in some way, although it would be great to have him on commentary for more than one match.
