It’s hard to imagine the WWE Universe without The New Day at this point. Although everything good must come to an end, it doesn’t appear there are any plans to split up Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston, and Big E just yet. After all, they’ve got a new book and WWE doesn’t seem to be slowing down on their merchandise.
Xavier Woods used his time in The New Day well and has played his trombone to entertain millions while Kofi Kingston and Big E shook their booties and hurled pancakes into the crowd.
As it turns out you might be able to thank future WWE Hall Of Famer D-Von Dudley for Xavier Woods’ WWE career because he was there to lend an ear and some wise advice back when Woods was known as Consequences Creed in TNA.
“Xavier Woods was in an organization [TNA] that I am not too keen on. This organization treated him bad, and Xavier told me that he may have a chance to go to WWE, but he may not and he doesn’t know what to do. We sat and talked for about 40 minutes; till this day he thanked me for making that phone call, and I believe it was Terry Taylor who was helping doing the hiring at the time, not sure who was in charge, but he basically thanked me for helping him make that decision in going to the WWE,”
D-Von Dudley might not be seen on-screen much anymore but he’s still around in a backstage capacity for WWE. His WWE Hall Of Fame induction alongside Bubba Ray will be an amazing moment for sure but you can probably bet it will mean a lot more to Xavier Woods.
