I have no idea if this is going to lead to an angle but it sure seems like there is something going on with Elias and The Rock.
For those of you that missed it, Elias was on Sirius XM’s Busted Open Radio and he called out The Rock, apparently for a musical appearance on a future Monday Night Raw. His comments came after Rock told Cathey Kelly that he couldn’t wait to get back into a WWE ring.
Elias took to Twitter today to promote a GoFundMe set up for, as he puts it, “Rocky Maivia (aka The Rock).” The campaign is to raise funds for The Rock because “he’s going to need it after he Walks With Elias.”
Oftentimes, wrestler Twitter feuds are backed by WWE but we don’t know if this is something being pushed by them or if Elias is just having some fun on social media.
