Aside from a very brief appearance by the stage area, Randy Orton didn’t have much of a role on last night’s Smackdown Live. However, the fans in Greensboro, NC got to see him in a dark match that took place after 205 Live.
AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows reunited The Club faction and they defeated Samoa Joe, Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura to send the fans home happy after a long night of action.
Fans in attendance noted that Orton shook hands with production people at ringside while making his entrance for the dark match. According to one correspondent, Orton laughed it off as he shook one of the hands of a production crew member at ringside. If that is the case, then that should tell you how serious Orton is taking the allegations made against him. This story could go away if the mainstream media doesn’t pick up on it. As of this writing, the only major news outlet to report on Orton is Fox News.
