As we wrote about earlier, Jason Sensation posted a Tweet shortly before Monday Night Raw and announced that he was able to get through security with a gun. Sensation said that he planned on killing himself and his Twitter bio indicated that he’s been suffering with depression.
Long-time fans will remember that Sensation was part of a D-Generation parody of The Nation on a 1998 episode of Monday Night Raw.
Sensation said the following on Twitter: “I got my gun through security & will shoot myself in the head & kill myself during tonight’s #RAW in Toronto. Don’t ya dare miss it!!!” Thanks for the memories @WWE.”
WrestlingNews.co was among many to reach out to notify WWE of the situation. The Toronto Police were also notified as word spread on social media.
Vince Russo told Wrestling Inc. that Sensation claimed that his tweet was meant as a joke and he is sorry. Sensation also said that he is sorry. Sensation’s Twitter account has been deleted and it’s unclear if he decided to delete his account or if Twitter decided to take action.
