Word spread quickly about the departure of Hideo Itami from the WWE as several superstars have reacted to the news. This comes after it was reported that Itami asked and received his WWE release.
The latest update on the status of the 205 Live star is that he said his goodbyes to everyone after WWE had wrapped up airing this week’s episode of 205 Live in Phoenix, AZ at the Talking Stick Resort Arena on the WWE Network as that as his final scheduled night on the road with WWE.
Now, the next step for him is to receive his release papers and will be subject to the traditional 90-day no compete.
Several WWE stars took to their official Twitter accounts to give praise to the former GHC Heavyweight Champion. Those stars include Peyton Royce of the Iiconics, who shared a video of Itami on the road, stating that she respects him, as well as Cedric Alexander and Nikki Cross.
