After this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw in Grand Rapids, MI at the Van Andel Arena went off the air on the USA Network, WWE did not hold a dark match. Instead, they did a segment involving some top stars.
The end of this week’s show saw WE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon announce that Becky Lynch would be “suspended” for 60 days. Thus, she would not be allowed to challenge WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey for the strap at WrestleMania 35. Instead, he revealed that Charlotte Flair would be the new opponent for Rousey at the biggest event of the year for the WWE.
After the show went off the air, The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan) confronted Rousey and Lynch but were taken out with double armbars to send the crowd home happy.
Rousey is slated to defend her title against Riott at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event takes place on February 17, 2019 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
