Ruby Riott has voiced her displeasure with the way that WWE has built her up and the ongoing promotion regarding the WWE Raw Women’s Title, which is currently held by Ronda Rousey.
Riott is slated to challenge Rousey for the strap at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event takes place on February 17, 2019 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas and will air on the WWE Network. Although WWE has built up this match, the main focus has been Rousey’s match at WrestleMania 35.
Originally, Rousey was slated to face Becky Lynch at this show but with WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon suspending her for 60 days, Charlotte Flair will now meet the former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion in the likely main event of the biggest event of the year for the promotion.
Riott took to her official Twitter account where she expressed her feelings when she wrote the following:
“By the way, Ronda, I have a front row ticket to your match against Ruby Riott at Elimination Chamber,” Charlotte said. “Don’t be nervous, I’m just scouting your match, I promise I won’t interfere. But maybe we’re going to have a new RAW Women’s Champion and I’ll have a new WrestleMania opponent. Who knows?”
My title match was announced via tweet.
The matches announced for Wrestlemania don’t even have me as a possible contender.
I’ve been underrated & disregarded.
But after I beat @RondaRousey this Sunday, I won’t be overlooked again.
And @MsCharlotteWWE I’ll see you at Wrestlemania— Ruby Soho (@realrubysoho) February 13, 2019
