Former WWE star working as a junior high school principal

Former WWE performer Marc Copani, better known as Muhammad Hassan to fans, will be taking over the duties for an upstate New York-based school as Principle of Fulton Junior High School.

In an interview with Oswego County Today, Copani expressed to the outlet his excitement for this new role as he wants to help build a bridge for students going from middle school to high school. He has been with the Fulton City School Department since 2015.

“From my vantage point, I’ve been able to see what many of our young men and women are lacking as they enter ninth grade,” Copani said. “I’m eager to get started with my faculty and staff so we can work together to prepare junior high students for the transition to the high school, which ultimately will help prepare students for life after school.”

Copani spent time with students before starting work under the title of principle that way he can get a familiarity with the students. He wants to help students not only excel at an educational level but social as well.

Copani worked in WWE before getting into the educational school system as he had notable feuds with John Cena, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker. He was on the main roster from 2004 – 2005.
