As previously noted, Alexa Bliss did not appear on Monday Night Raw this week because of a bad sinus infection.
Nikki Cross stepped in to continue the storyline with Bayley and, as a precaution, was added to the SmackDown Women’s Championship match for Extreme Rules.
Bliss took to Instagram to let fans know how sick she was and said that it was the sickest she’s been in her life. She also noted that the illness was affecting her for almost 2 weeks. Thankfully, she appears to be getting better.
Bliss wrote: “After being the sickest I think I’ve ever been in my life for almost 2 weeks… @cynsationalbeauty came over to make sure the pink & tone was touched up on my hair for #ExtremeRules ??♀️ thank you @cynsationalbeauty @capelliloft !!”
