Becky Lynch on Ronda Rousey: I’ll be right here waiting, carrying this division that she abandoned

WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch isn’t done with former champion Ronda Rousey.

Lynch beat Rousey and Charlotte Flair to win the WWE Raw and SmackDown Women’s Titles at WrestleMania 35 in a Winner Take All Match. This marked Rousey’s latest match as she took time off from WWE to start a family.

The top star of the women’s division on Raw spoke with Sporting News to promote the release of WWE 2K20, which she’ll be featured on the cover of alongside Roman Reigns.

During the interview, Lynch was asked if she missed Rousey, which Lynch responded by stating no and that she still wants a singles match against Rousey.

“Do I miss her? Absolutely not. If she wants to come back, I’ll still be holding onto the championship and happy to face her. I didn’t run. She ran. I still want that singles match. I still want that singles match so whenever she wants to come back and face me, I’ll be right here waiting, carrying this division that she abandoned.”
