Kurt Angle shared a story on social media of a situation involving his son, Joseph, while on a family vacation at Lake Erie.

The WWE Hall of Famer recently took to Instagram to praise the heroic efforts of a local man by the name of Jake Schmidt, who saved his son from drowning. At the end of the post, Angle shared some humor following the potentially tragic situation.

Angle is enjoying retirement from the pro wrestling business. Although he retired from in-ring action at WrestleMania 35 in 2019, he was previously working for WWE as an agent.

Angle departed WWE after being let go as a part of budget cuts related to the coronavirus. However, WWE did offer him a role to be the manager of Matt Riddle on Friday Night SmackDown.

The former WWE Champion turned down the role. The legendary pro wrestler elaborated on his decision, which you can read about here.
