Wednesday Night War 7/8/20: WWE NXT: The Great American Bash wins total viewership, AEW Fyter Fest wins key demo

The live viewership numbers for both AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT are in.

Both shows were down this week in total viewers. It was NXT that took the night. The previous two weeks saw NXT victorious as well. This marked the second and final week of AEW’s Fyter Fest and NXT’s Great American Bash.

The USA Network made the call to air limited commercial interruptions for the past two episodes of NXT. For more on that, click here. 

AEW Dynamite drew 715,000 live viewers and NXT drew 759,000 live viewers. Last week, AEW drew 748,000 while NXT drew 792,000.

As is the case in most weeks, AEW won the 18-49 demographic. NXT ranked #24 among the top 150 shows on cable while AEW was #7.

Viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.28 / NXT: 0.20
Female viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.17 / NXT: 0.15
Male viewers 18-49 – AEW: 0.39 / NXT: 0.26
Viewers 18-34 – AEW: 0.19 / NXT: 0.11
Female viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.11 / NXT: 0.09
Male viewers 12-34 – AEW: 0.21 / NXT: 0.13
Viewers 25-54 – AEW: 0.32 / NXT: 0.22
Viewers 50+ – AEW: 0.27 / NXT: 0.39
