REPORT: Timeframe of Charlotte Flair’s WWE return is undetermined

Charlotte Flair’s hiatus from WWE has been a hot topic as of late to the point where the top star took to social media to address it.

We noted on Sunday that Flair took to Twitter where she issued a lengthy thread of messages talking about taking time off from WWE in order to fix issues with her breast implants. To read her full statement, click here.

Originally, there were mixed reports about how long she would be away from WWE. Some reports stated that she would be back by SummerSlam while others stated that it could be around Survivor Series if not longer. WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair recently confirmed that she would only be gone from the company for a few weeks.

The latest update comes from Dave Meltzer on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio episode. This is where he talked about Flair getting the surgery done but also another factor that could impact her return to WWE television.

Flair has a possible TV deal in the works although Meltzer wasn’t sure how far along it is. He noted that the TV project and surgery all play into when she will likely be back on WWE programming. It’s believed to be a reality show, but that isn’t confirmed.

Meltzer noted that WWE officials wanted her return for SummerSlam, but it’s looking like that timeframe isn’t possible because of the surgery and TV project. He ended by stating that “when she comes back is undetermined at this point.”
