It was reported over the weekend that WWE will be airing a bonus episode of “Undertaker: The Last Ride” on the WWE Network.
WWE confirmed the bonus episode would be coming and provided some additional details. The streaming service is slated to broadcast the special edition of the documentary on Sunday, July 19th.
The special is titled “Undertaker: The Last Ride – Tales From The Deadman”. WWE shared the following synopsis for the special:
“Get ready for some incredible behind-the-scenes anecdotes from the man himself, as Undertaker recalls stories about the origins of his character, his experience on an infamous plane ride, and even that time he fought The Godfather over a hat, all accompanied by never-before-seen animation.”
The five-part series followed Taker over the last couple years of his career and the theme of it was how Taker was coming to terms with his retirement.
Taker essentially announced his retirement from the pro wrestling business at the end of the docuseries as he noted that he has no desire to wrestle again.
