Karrion Kross on fans focusing on ratings instead of product during war between WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite

Karrion Kross has given his take about the Wednesday Night War between WWE NXT and AEW Dynamite. Back in October when the two shows started to go head-to-head with each other, the ratings of both shows were a hot topic.

However, the majority of the war between the two sides has seen Dynamite top NXT not only in total viewership but also in key demographics. In recent weeks, NXT has seen a resurgence and went on a three-week winning streak. The topic has returned about which show did better in the ratings among fans.

Kross made it known in an interview with Pro Wrestling Sheet that he doesn’t get bummed out by the fact that some fans are more concerned about the ratings instead of which promotion had the better show.

“Not at all because they can be or do however they want. To me, those people are just as important as the people who don’t pay attention to it. Fans are fans. I don’t really categorize which fan is more important than the other, because that is an equation to go completely psychotic. There are people online that are in our industry that spend way too much time and energy on that type of stuff.”

Kross stated that his energy is going into making sure that he makes the most out his time on television and to have entertaining segments.

“There are people that have jobs in this company where it’s their occupation to be consumed and concerned with measuring those things. It’s not mine. So I just don’t allow my energy to go there. I save it for the fans.”

Kross also talked about Tommaso Ciampa being his first big opponent in NXT, Randy Orton’s criticism, and more. Check out the full interview here.
