A big stipulation has been announced for one of the matches at WWE SummerSlam on Sunday.
As noted earlier, Mandy Rose appeared on SmackDown and offered to put everything behind them because she believes the old Sonya is still there and she wants things to go back to how they used to be.
This appeared to be a change in direction for their storyline as they were scheduled to wrestle in a hair vs. hair match this Sunday.
The incident with Sonya’s stalker was addressed in a backstage segment when Dana Brooke wished her well after a bad week but Deville slapped her in the face for being disrespectful to her.
Moments later, Deville walked out to the arena and said that she wanted to raise the stakes for the match on Sunday with the loser leaving WWE. She also said that she wanted the match to be No DQ.
It’s not clear what is happening here but it’s no secret that Sonya is dealing with the legal case against her stalker so it may be that she’s taking time off. There’s always a chance that someone will actually leave the company.
