Jim Ross is getting a lot of heat from fans on social media for something he said about Anna Jay during AEW’s All Out broadcast.
“Did Anna Jay have a wardrobe malfunction, or is that wishful thinking in my book?” Ross said after Jay and Brandi Rhodes interacted during the Casino Battle Royale.
The comment by Ross was made when The Dark Order’s Stu Grayson was trying to keep Jay away from Rhodes and Jay could be seen adjusting her top.
“Didn’t mean to offend anyone on the wardrobe malfunction line. Weak attempt at humor. Sorry,” Ross said in a tweet that was later deleted.
The story was picked up by the New York Daily News and it includes some of the negative reactions from fans on Twitter. Jay has not commented and, as of this writing, nothing else has been said by anyone in the company about the comment.

Jim Ross has been in the business for decades and made immense contributions. At his peak, he was the best commentator in wrestling history.
But it’s time for him to go.

Jim Ross sounds like he'd rather be anywhere else. His comment about Anna Jay was creepy AF and not cute or charming at all. I'd be fine with Excal/Tony/Tazz from now on and just have JR in talking heads and guest spots.

Hey @AEW @TonyKhan @CodyRhodes are y’all going to send Jim Ross to sensitivity training too after what he said about Anna Jay?!? #AEWAllOut

Jim Ross apologises for the “wardrobe malfunction” comment about Anna Jay on #AEWAllOut
The moment I heard him say that comment, my first thought was “you can’t say that”.
Very creepy and doesn’t have a place on a broadcast in 2020.
JR should know better. pic.twitter.com/schZqeiANA
