As noted earlier, there are plans for four major matches at WWE WrestleMania 37 in Tampa, Florida.
John Cena is said to be nearly locked in and the same can be said for Goldberg but one name that fans are wondering about is The Undertaker.
Despite his retirement and farewell ceremony at the Survivor Series, there is still speculation that he could wrestle on the show if Vince McMahon calls him. Taker left things open during his documentary that aired several months ago on the WWE Network.
WrestleVotes is reporting that the majority of people backstage think Taker is done but, the feeling is that one call from Vince McMahon could convince him to come out of retirement. That seems unlikely but nothing is off the table when it comes to Taker, especially if a big payday is offered to him. What seems more likely is an appearance where Taker walks out and hits someone with Tombstone and/or a chokeslam.
Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the card for Mania is not locked in. We should start to see the seeds planted for some matches in a week during Royal Rumble weekend.
Follow up on the Taker part. Majority of those backstage think he’s done. And rightfully so. However, it only takes one call, from one usually conVINCing man to change all that.
