Jay White returns at NJPW Road to the New Beginning event

After stating that he would be leaving NJPW, Jay White has made his return.

White got fans talking with his promo following a loss to IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champion Kota Ibushi at Wrestle Kingdom 15 Night Two. He noted that he was finished with NJPW after New Year Dash last month.

Super J-Cast reported White could depart from New Japan Pro Wrestling at the end of January and was expected to receive an offer from WWE. It was later reported White had a few years left on his current contract. Thus, it stopped any rumors of him going to WWE.

During Monday’s Road to the New Beginning event at Korakuen Hall, White returned after a brief hiatus to attack Tomohiro Ishii, who had just scored a win in a  six-man tag team match. As Bullet Club distracted Ishii’s team on the outside, White emerged to attack Ishii.
