Braun Strowman is looking forward to being able to wrestle again.
The former WWE Universal Champion was released by the company last month due to budget cuts. Strowman will be free to sign with other promotions on Tuesday, August 31 when his 90-day non-compete clause expires.
In a recent post on Twitter, Strowman likened his 90-day wait to being in jail. He wrote the following:
“While I sit here with a belly full of pizza I can’t help but think about how much I like beating people up!!!!!! How many more days do I have till in [I’m] out of jail??? I wanna fight!!!!! #WhoF*ckingWantsSome #MyMitsAreRatedEForEveryone #CatchMeOutside.”

Speculation about Strowman possibly heading to AEW started when Mark Henry, who was influential in bringing Strowman to WWE to start his pro wrestling career, stated that there’s interest between Strowman and AEW about bringing him into the promotion.
However, there have been no reports about Strowman heading to AEW or even what’s next for him.
