Karrion Kross reaches WWE NXT milestone

Karrion Kross has been pushed as a top star since he arrived in WWE NXT. He was always planned to be fast-tracked to the main roster, but that didn’t mean he had an easy road.

Kross originally held the NXT Title for the first time after beating Keith Lee in August 2020 at TakeOver: XXX, but had to vacate it due to a shoulder injury. His reign lasted just 4 days.

He later won it back from Finn Balor at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver – Night 2 this past April. Kross has now held the title for 115 days during his second title reign. Adam Cole holds the record of 396 days.

Last month, Kross was called up to the main roster without Scarlett where he dropped a quick loss to Jeff Hardy then beat Keith Lee. Originally, he was supposed to lose to Hardy for a second time straight, but Hardy was pulled from the bout due to a positive COVID-19 test.

Kross is slated to make his next NXT Title defense against Samoa Joe at NXT TakeOver 36 later this month.
