TNT Champion Miro wrestled Fuego Del Sol on the premiere edition of AEW Rampage.
Fuego started out by hitting Miro with three consecutive DDTs but Miro took over by countering a move off the top with a Samoan Drop and the Accolade submission.
As a result of the loss, Fuego will not get an AEW contract. After the match, Miro tore up Fugo’s contract.
UPDATE: After the commercial break, Tony Khan and Sammy Guevara walked out. Guevara walked to the ring with a contract in his hand and he handed him a contract. Guevara said Fuego is ALL ELITE and they hugged.
The dream is over for @FuegoDelSol. @ToBeMiro retains the TNT Championship and rips up the contract.
