Charlotte Flair explains why she shouldn’t compete in WWE Queen of the Ring tournament

Charlotte Flair is presented as the queen of WWE as she has done it all in the promotion from being a top star and holding nearly all titles the company has to offer.

WWE is returning to Saudi Arabia on October 21st for its next pay-per-view event in the country. The company plans to hold a Queen of the Ring tournament with it starting October 8th on SmackDown and continuing on the October 11th episode of Raw before the finals take place at the Crown Jewel event.

Speaking with talkSPORT, Flair made it known that she doesn’t think she should be part of the tournament. Instead, she thinks she should face the winner.

“Being that I’m already The Queen, if it was to happen, I believe whoever wins it has to face me, since I am The Queen of Queens, right? [laughs]. I don’t think I should have to be in it, I already have the title. They should get to face me if they win. It won’t be Queen versus Queen, it will be Queen versus whoever won the tournament. [laughs] let’s get something right!”

The tournament will have talent from Raw and SmackDown. Flair thinks NXT wrestlers should also be involved in the tournament because it allows multiple women to be highlighted.

Flair will work a triple threat match with Rhea Ripley and Raw Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H at Saturday’s WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view event.
