Jim Cornette took to Twitter to give praise to AEW and their production team.
As seen below, Cornette quote tweeted a clip that aired on AEW’s YouTube channel that shows the fantastic work put in by AEW’s production team for CM Punk’s debut on AEW Rampage.
Cornette mentioned that AEW ran a show in an NBA arena that was full of fans with a real star (Punk) and great production.
Cornette tweeted, “Unique look at @AEW’s TV coming-out party: NBA arena, full of fans, a real wrestling star & great production. First time they’ve had all 4 at the same time. Listen to director Tim Walbert, veteran of Wrestlemanias, call this. This is why I loved being in the truck. It’s an art.”
During a recent episode of The Jim Cornette Experience, Cornette praised the decision to have Punk kick off Rampage and just let him speak from the heart.
While he has been very critical about many aspects of the product, Cornette has given praise to some people in AEW like Darby Allin and FTR.
