As noted earlier, via Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard will be producing WWE NXT, starting with the September 14th show when they are live again.
In a story on the Wrestling Observer Website, Dave Meltzer added that McMahon and Prichard will be behind the big decisions and not the little ones.
Meltzer said that McMahon and Prichard will be behind the marketing, promotion, and direction of the brand and that “their role in booking may only be regarding those at the top.”
Last month during a BT Sport interview with Ariel Helwani, WWE President Nick Khan said that changes are coming in NXT and that there are plans for a revamp of the product. Khan said that the show will have a whole new look and feel.
This past Friday, WWE revealed a new colorful NXT logo. The plan is to redo the entire presentation of the show, from music to the lighting and more. WWE taped a few episodes of NXT last week so that they could have time to revamp the Performance Center.
NXT is taped next week but they will be live again on September 14. Their live return will feature the wedding of Dexter Lumis and Indi Hartwell.
