MVP and Chris Jericho issues may be related to Donald Trump tweets, Jericho blocked MVP on Twitter

Chris Jericho and MVP’s falling out may have to do with tweets that were sent out around the time of the 2020 election.

On November 4, 2020, Jericho tweeted: “Im not a political person, but is it strange to anybody else, that for the first time ever, we have to wait a day…2 days…5 days…10 days…to find out who won the presidential race?”

MVP responded: “Delete this.”

MVP also tweeted: “Misinformation or categorically false information is not an opinion. There are no such things as “alternative facts”. But hey, no reason to let the truth get in the way.”

MVP and Jericho would regularly interact on Twitter before those tweets but there have been no interactions since that time. Several months later, MVP indicated that he was blocked by Jericho.

As noted earlier, there was a confrontation this past Wednesday at the hotel where the wrestlers were staying after AEW Dynamite. Per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jericho was said to be talking with Matt Hardy when MVP showed up and it was a tense situation but nothing happened. For anyone wondering, MVP lives in Houston and he is close friends with Matt Hardy so he may have been there just to say hello and then he noticed Jericho was there.
