New trademark filing may reveal Bray Wyatt’s new ring name

Former WWE star Bray Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda, recently filed for a trademark for “Wyatt 6” for clothing purposes.

He has retained the services of Michael E. Dockins, who is the same attorney who handles trademark issues for many pro wrestlers including many wrestlers who work for AEW. This does not necessarily mean that he’s AEW-bound.

The “Wyatt 6” filing might indicate that this will be the name he plans on using going forward. It’s also his Twitter username. Here is the description:

“Mark For: WYATT 6™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of hats; Shirts; Sweatshirts; Bandanas; Hooded sweatshirts.”

The trademark for “Bray Wyatt” is owned by WWE so he won’t be allowed to use that name.

WWE reportedly had specific reasons for firing Wyatt in 2021. He remains on the free agent market as Wyatt has a very high asking price for a return to pro wrestling whether that’s in WWE or AEW. Since departing from WWE, Wyatt has only made select wrestling appearances for signings but has indicated on Twitter that he’s ready to return to the squared circle.
