As many of you saw during WWE Raw, Drew McIntyre finally turned heel and he will be teaming with The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, and JD McDonagh) at the PLE in Chicago in less than two weeks. McIntyre turned on Jey Uso during the main event Tag Team Title match and then he shook hands with Rhea Ripley.
That leaves a spot open on the babyface side because it’s currently 5 vs. 4. After WWE Raw went off the air, Cody Rhodes grabbed the microphone and said, “Spoiler alert, Jey Uso and I got friends too.” Immediately after Cody said that, the fans at the show started chanting Randy Orton’s name.
If you have been following social media in recent weeks then you may already know that Orton is due back soon and it appears that his return is being saved for either next week’s Raw or the Survivor Series PLE. Orton has been out of action with back issues since the summer of 2022. He has been working out at the Performance Center in recent weeks so his return has been expected.
