John Cena Needed a Medical Procedure After WWE Crown Jewel Match

John Cena is off to Hollywood again after putting over Solo Sikoa this past Saturday at WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. The young star beat the former WWE Champion with several Samoan spikes, wrapping up Cena’s stint with WWE for now.

In 2023, Cena gave back to the business by putting over younger talent, including Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39 earlier this year, teaming with LA Knight and letting Sikoa beat him.

Cena has not won a singles match at a PLE since 2018 with a win over Triple H at Greatest Royal Rumble. Cena now has movie commitments following the end of the actor’s strike.

Cena was in the headlines this week as Warner Bros. no longer plans to release Coyote vs. Acme, a live-action, CG animation movie that features Cena and was filmed last year in New Mexico.

In a post on Twitter, Cena thanked Orthopaedic Surgeon Jeff Dugas for a medical procedure performed at Andrew’s Sport Medicine and Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
