Spoiler on WWE’s new plans for Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania

Following a report by WrestleVotes on Friday morning, WWE confirmed the report by announcing two WrestleMania Showcase matches during Friday’s episode of SmackDown.

There will be two fatal 4-way tag team bouts for both the men and women. For more on the men’s match and the expected participants, click here.

WWE held the first qualifying match for the women’s match on SmackDown when Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defeated Emma and Tegan Nox.

As previously reported, Rousey and Baslzer were slated to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania. However, WWE changed plans for Rousey and the Women’s Tag Team Title match.

WrestleVotes now reports the rest of the teams in the match will include Natalya & Shotzi, Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler, and Chelsea Green & Carmella.

As of this writing, it’s unclear which night – April 1 or April 2 – the match will take place.
