In the ring, Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams were bragging about Hayes beating Apollo Crews at NXT Vengeance Day. JD McDonagh came out and after McDonagh ran his mouth, Hayes challenged him to a match which McDonagh accepted.
Fallon Henley and Kiana James were backstage. Henley said she watched the tape of their match and saw that James cheated at Vengeance Day. Henley said we have to give the former champs a rematch. Henley threatened to tell Brooks Jenson who James was on the phone with. Henley opened the door to the locker room to do this, but was met by a surprise party for them.
It was announced that Grayson Waller has been suspended for the week for interrupting Shawn Michaels during the NXT Vengeance Day Post Show Media Call.
Sol Ruca vs Zoey Stark
Ruca went for a springboard on Stark, but Stark lifted her legs to block it. Stark then hit a belly to back GTS on Ruca and pinned her. Stark continued to beat on Ruca after the match, but Ruca hit the Sol Snatcher on Stark and left the ring.
At the party, Pretty Deadly showed up and said they haven’t slept since Vengeance Day. They blamed Chase University for not being tag team titles. Andre Chase said they feel the same way towards and said Pretty Deadly is going to get their ass kicked by Andre Chase University
Dabba-Kato vs Dante Chen
Dabba-Kato gave Chen a chokeslam powerbomb and pinned him. After the match, Kato was asked why he attacked Apollo Crews. Kato said Crews knows what he did and he’s going to drop his ass.
The Diamond Mine were backstage with the doctors checking Ivy Niles. Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn interrupted them and Dawn accused Paxley of being the one who attacked Nikita Lyons in the parking lot.
Backstage, Roxanne Perez said she was not going to let Toxic Attraction win her title at NXT Vengeance Day. Katana Chance & Kayden Carter interrupted her and said they got screwed out of their titles. Carter told Perez she has no friends here.
Isla Dawn (with Alba Fyre) vs Tatum Paxley
Paxley went for a cross body, but Dawn hit the Bloody Sunday on Paxley and pinned her. Fyre was going to attack Paxley after the match, but Nile made the save.
Carmelo Hayes (with Trick Williams) vs JD McDonagh
McDonagh’s and Hayes’ heads collided in the middle of the ring. Ilja Dragunov’s music came on and he came down the aisle and gave a forearm to Williams. Hayes rolled up McDonagh for the pin. Dragunov went to throw a running punch which hit McDonagh. Dragunov chased McDonagh threw the crowd.
Backstage, Thea Hail asked Tiffany Stratton why she doesn’t like Chase U. Stratton said it’s tacky, crazy, annoying, and nobody wants to go there. Ava Raine came from behind and dragged Hail out.
Back at the party, Fallon Henley was getting ready to tell Brooks Jenson who Kiana James was on the phone with when Jenson said he has a Valentine’s Day date with James next week. At that point, Henley didn’t tell him.
Valentina Feroz (with Wendy Choo) vs Lyra Valkyria
Elektra Lopez made her way to ringside. Lopez handed Feroz brass knuckles. Feroz looked confused, but put the knux on. Choo told Feroz not to use them. Valkyria hit Feroz with an enziguri and a spinning kick to Feroz’s head to score the pin.
Wes Lee’s video diary leading up to his match on NXT Vengeance day aired. Backstage, Lee was set to give an interview when Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo appeared. D’Angelo told Lee that he reaped the benefits of their issues with Dijak and they expect to be compensated for their actions. Lee told them he did not ask for them to be out there and he didn’t need their help. Lee said he will have an open challenge for his North American Championship next week and maybe one of them can answer it.
Tyler Bate said Grayson Waller lost at Vengeance Day and chose to disrespect Shawn Michaels. He told Waller to try and disrespect him when next week after his suspension is over.
Odyssey Jones vs Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo (with Tony D’Angelo)
Stacks gave Odyssey a DDT and a running forearm. He followed it up with a curb stomp using his knee instead of his foot and scored the pin
Jinder Mahal , Sanga, and Veer said they destroyed The Creed Brothers. Phase one of their take over has been complete and they will be recognized for the worldwide stars that they are
Roxanne Perez said next week her partner will Meiko Satomura to go against Katana Chance and Kayden Carter
Andre Chase & Duke Hudson vs Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson)
Pretty Deadly looked ragged coming to the ring. The story of the match was they lost their confidence because they were not champions. At one point in the match, Kit Wilson was frustrated and said what’s the point. Chase gave Prince the Chase U Stomp. Andre Hail came down the aisle screaming. Wilson held up Chase while Prince gave him a swinging neckbreaker and pinned him. Gallus appeared in the stands staring down on Pretty Deadly
Backstage, Hank Walker told Drew Gulak he is ready to accept Wes Lee’s open challenge next week. Charlie Dempsey questioned whether Walker was ready for the challenge and told Gulak make sure Walker doesn’t take shortcuts like Gulak does.
Ding Dong, Hello! with guest Gigi Dolin Jayce Jayne
Jayce told Gigi both accused each other of costing them the NXT Women’s Championship at Vengeance Day. Bayley asked them to think about if they are better off without each other. Jacye and Gigi realized they are better together and said there is strength in numbers and maybe they should go after the NXT Tag Titles again. Then they told Bayley that maybe they should go after Damage Control’s WWE Women’s Tag Team titles. Bayley told them to focus on now and told them to hug it out. They did, and then Jacye superkicked Gigi and threw her into the door.
