Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes vs. AJ Styles in an I Quit match took place at the WWE Clash At The Castle 2024 Premium Live Event from the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
A brawl broke out with them fighting outside the ring and into the crowd. They even went backstage. Back in the ring, Rhodes put him in the figure four leg lock. Styles got out of it and suplexed him to the floor from the ring. Styles with an AA on the announce table then a brain buster. AJ talked trash to Cody’s mom at ringside. Cody was busted open. Rhodes with a back body drop off the steps. Back in the ring, AJ started the beat down before putting a chair around his neck and stomped on it. AJ put him in a submission and Rhodes passed out then got handcuffs with Cody’s hands being behind him. AJ went for a phenomenal forearm, but Cody threw a chair at him and AJ went crashing to the floor through a table. Mama Rhodes slapped Styles three times. Cody now has the handcuffs in front of him and uncuffs himself. Cody hit him with the handcuff. Cody with a cutter then fired up and hit a cross rhodes then two more including one of a chair. Cody with several chair shots on AJ, who was handcuffed to the ring ropes. Cody went to hit him with steel steps and AJ quit. Post-match, Cody looked at his mom and then hit AJ with the steps.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
The Bloodline attacked Rhodes after the match.
