A top WWE star is injured and working through he UK tour with the injury.
Drew McIntyre can be seen in the photo below wearing a sleeve on his right arm. PWInsider is reporting that the former WWE/World Heavyweight Champion suffered a badly hyperextended elbow but he is going to work through the current UK tour. The injury is believed to have happened when he wrestled Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 40.
In related news, McIntyre has not yet signed a new WWE deal. WWE and McIntyre have been in talks for months about a new deal and the company wants to keep him but it comes down to financial terms. McInrye has reportedly expressed that he is willing to let his deal expire so he can take some time off and go home to see his family.
With that being said, WWE Clash at the Castle will be in Scotland on June 15th so one has to assume that there’s a good chance that McIntyre will be on that show but for that to happen, he would need to sign a new contract. People in WWE believe that will happen.
