The Rock On Possibility Of Future WWE Matches: “There Might Be”

The Rock & Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins took place at the WWE WrestleMania XL premium live event from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday night.

The finish saw Rock whip Cody in the back with the belt, leading to Reigns with a spear to Cody, then Rock with a Rock Bottom and People’s Elbow for the win. As a result of the win, the stipulation for Reigns’ Undisputed WWE Universal Title Match against Rhodes tonight will be Bloodline Rules.

The former WWE Champion is slated to portray Mark Kerr, a two-time UFC Heavyweight Tournament Champion, in “The Smashing Machine” film. The movie will be in production for three months, starting on May 1, 2024, and ending on August 1, 2024, with filming locations taking place in Los Angeles, New Mexico, Tokyo, and Vancouver.

The Rock is expected to be off television following Mania, although the company has pushed for him to do at least one more match, including in Saudi Arabia. While speaking at the post-WrestleMania presser, Rock addressed his future when asked about possibly doing more matches.

“There might be [more matches], The Rock said. “I can’t elaborate that much on that, but there might be. I love what I do. I love our business. I was born into our business. We’ll see.”
