Minneapolis Official Drops Big Hint About Hosting WWE WrestleMania 41

WWE may be heading to Minneapolis to host WrestleMania 41 in 2025, after all.

Location

Going all the way back to 2015, Minneapolis, Minnesota, was rumored to host Mania, including WrestleMania 33 in 2017, but Orlando, Florida, got the honor. It’s been believed that should WWE go to the city, they would host it from U.S. Bank Stadium, which is where the NFL’s Minnesota Vikings play.

It’s an indoor stadium and has a capacity of up to 73,000 seats for events. Although the front runner has been in Minneapolis, there have been some rumblings about it possibly being in Las Vegas.

Tease

On Thursday, the Minnesota House of Representatives passed a bill and brought up the Sports Grant bill during a meeting of The House Economic Development Finance and Policy Committee.

This is where Wendy Blackshaw, The CEO of Minnesota Sports and Events, stated they have “a third event we are almost ready to announce.” They hope to announce it in the next few weeks as it will “provide an economic impact second to only the Super Bowl.”

This announcement and tease would certainly fit the bill for WrestleMania, which WWE usually announces the location for the following year’s event around this time.
