WWE crew dealing with travel issues following Monday’s Raw

WWE stacked the card for Monday’s episode of Raw as the show went up against notable competition, but they also dealt with travel woes thanks to the weather.

The show

The show went up against the Emmys and an NFL playoff game across ABC, ESPN, and ESPN 2 between the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. To counter the competition, WWE featured the following bouts:

World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins vs. Jinder Mahal, Finn Balor & Damian Priest vs. The Miz & R-Truth, DIY (Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa) vs. Dominik Mysterio & JD McDonagh, and more. As previously reported, Rollins was injured in the main event bout. For more on that, click here.

Issues

Johnny Gargano previously noted himself, Tommaso Ciampa, Candice LeRae, and Indi Hartwell had travel issues getting to the show as a good portion of the United States is dealing with weather issues.

Pwinsider reports there were countless issues with flights and weather for talents over the last 24 hours. Some people couldn’t fly in and had to drive to Little Rock, Arkansas, for the show. Some were stranded at airports.

The report noted a lot of wrestlers are dealing with flight issues this morning while trying to get home. Some people are driving to other cities in hopes of having a better chance at getting home.
