As was noted earlier via Dave Meltzer, Hangman Adam Page was scheduled to do a pre-tape while backstage at AEW Collision but when he got there, he was told that it would have to be done away from the arena. The comments about Page after Collision were said to be a shoot and not part of a storyline. Click here for more on that.
Fightful Select is reporting that Ryan Nemeth was flown in for Collision tapings but after he got there, he was told that he was not needed and a flight was booked for him to fly home. Fightul added that Nemeth, who appears regularly on The Elite’s YouTube channel, was confronted by Punk just after Punk’s return at the first Collision.
Punk’s issue with Nemeth was a tweet by Nemeth that said, “Literally the softest man alive” that was sent after Punk’s return promo where he referred to “Counterfeit Bucks.” It was added by Fightful that Nemeth explained himself and there was no physicality with Punk.
