AEW has greatly expanded since launching in 2019 as they went from having one weekly show, Dynamite, to increasing with Rampage on Friday nights and Collision on Saturday nights. AEW President Tony Khan is also booking weekly ROH TV in addition to considering expanding its PPV event schedule.
Khan has given up a little bit of control by giving other people responsibilities. That includes Orange Cassidy.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that the AEW International Champion “has also picked up work as a producer/agent in All Elite Wrestling.”
Cassidy has produced recent matches such as Infantry vs. Kingdom and Big Bill & Brian Cage vs. Matt Sydal & Trent.
The producers are on headset during the match to make sure everyone is doing certain spots, they’re on time, and other things. They also tell the TV truck to focus on certain spots.
