WWE presented a loaded episode of Raw on Monday night from Atalanta as WWE continues to build towards SummerSlam.
Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio & Damian Priest) headlined the show that featured the return of Brock Lesnar.
Also on the show was Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis) (with Maxxine Dupri) vs. Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) (with Valhalla) in a Viking Rules Match, and Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez dropping the Women’s Tag Team Titles to Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville.
This ended Morgan and Rodriguez’s second reign as the champions. Fans have widely criticized the titles because of how WWE booked them.
WrestleVotes reported today, “There is a feeling of optimism from the company around the new Women’s Tag Champs in Chelsea Green & Sonya Deville, with hopes the two can “stabilize” the tag titles with a substantial run as champions.”
It’s unclear when Green and Deville will give a rematch to Morgan and Rodriguez.
