Charlotte Flair has fans speculating about her getting closer to returning to WWE television.
Flair hasn’t been seen on WWE television since dropping the SmackDown Women’s Title to Ronda Rousey in an I Quit Match at WrestleMania Backlash in May.
After the match, Flair was written off television as she was getting married to AEW’s Andrade El Idolo earlier this summer and wanted the time off for the special occasion.
Flair appeared in August on Steve Austin’s “Broken Skull Sessions” show. She previously indicated potential plans for her return during an appearance on the WWE’s Most Extreme Moments Countdown special.
Andrade mentioned last month that Flair’s absence from WWE TV is due to personal reasons.
As seen below, Flair posted a photo of her ring boots on her Instagram stories. It’s unclear when the photo was taken, but if she is currently training, then that would mean her in-ring return could be happening soon, possibly at the Royal Rumble in January as a surprise entrant in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match. She also shared videos of herself on WWE television on her Instagram stories.
