WWE has announced three things for next week’s episode of SmackDown, including Braun Strowman’s first match back in the company.
Strowman will make his WWE in-ring return by facing Otis in a singles match. Strowman returned to the company after being released on the September 5th edition of Raw, where he is expected to be pushed as a top babyface.
Strowman then took out Alpha Academy on the September 9 SmackDown and this week’s SmackDown saw Strowman go through a segment with Maximum Male Models. Chad Gable then interrupted him, leading to Otis attacking Strowman from behind.
Also confirmed for this show is the return of Roman Reigns, which marks his first appearance on WWE programming since defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle.
Finally, The Usos will defend the Undisputed Tag Team Titles against Ridge Holland and Butch of The Brawling Brutes, who earned the shot by winning a fatal 4-way #1 contenders match on this week’s SmackDown.
