Tyson Fury-Drew McIntyre segment at WWE Clash at the Castle was not supposed to air on TV

On the latest “Wrestling with Freddie” podcast, Freddie Prinze, Jr. discussed WWE Clash at the Castle and AEW All Out.

Prinze said the reason why Tyson Fury singing with Drew McIntyre aired was because somebody forgot to cut the feed:

“The end of the match was weird because they forgot to say cut,” Prinze said. “I know this for a fact. I asked a couple of people. They left the feed running and all of a sudden Drew McIntyre was feeling good, Tyson Fury came out to the ring, and they sang ‘Sweet Caroline’ after a loss. It was so weird.”

Also during this podcast, Prinze discussed the AEW media scrum and all of the backstage issues going on in the company. Prinze said he has friends there and the feeling is that leadership is needed, especially after Tony Khan was disrespected when CM Punk was ripping on the EVP’s, Hangman Page and Colt Cabana.
