WWE starting to change wrestlers who were miscast

WWE changed a lot over the past few weeks now that Vince McMahon is no longer in control and Triple H is in charge of creative.

Before McMahon’s resignation, he alongside Bruce Prichard had the final say on what NXT creative was doing as Shawn Michaels ran the day-to-day operations. Now, Triple H has the final say.

Katana Chance, formerly known as Kacy Catanzaro, is a natural babyface, but WWE booked her as a heel alongside Kayden Carter once they became a team.

On Tuesday’s NXT, WWE held a fatal four-way tag team elimination match to determine the new NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions, which was won by Chance and Carter.

Before the match, Chance and Carter did a heel promo. However, after winning the titles, they did a babyface promo. This came days after Triple H turned Becky Lynch from a heel to a babyface.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that other “miscast” stars are now being corrected.

“A lot of people who were miscast, and in this case, let’s face it, Kacy Catanzaro, she should not be cast as a heel. She is a babyface. They were getting ready to miscast her, and now they’re casting her where she should be, just like Becky Lynch.”
