AEW is expected to get a star back from injury after being sidelined with an injury.
That star is former IWGP Heavyweight Champion “Switchblade” Jay White, who has been out of action for over a month. It had suffered a foot injury that resulted in AEW’s plans being changed, and the Bang Bang Gang was forced to vacate the trio’s Championships.
White last worked a match when he put over Hangman Page in the Owen Hart Foundation tournament on the July 6th episode of Collision. As for the Bang Bang Gang, they last defended their unified Trios Titles at AEW Double or Nothing.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reported that White is healthy again and that he will soon return to AEW TV. As of this writing, it’s unclear exactly when he will return or what AEW has planned for him.
