MVP And Chris Jericho Have Seemingly Squashed Past Issues

Chris Jericho and MVP had been friends for years. After some past issues, they were on the outs. However, it seems like everything has been smoothed over.

In January, it was reported that MVP knocked out Jericho during an altercation on the Chris Jericho Cruise in January 2020. In May 2022, it was reported MVP confronted Jericho at a hotel in Houston, TX, where AEW talent was in town for a show.

MVP was there to visit Matt Hardy, who was talking with Jericho. They exchanged words, and Jericho got on an elevator. Before the doors were about to close, he told MVP that he doesn’t fight jobbers. The confrontation boiled down to social and political issues, which were made public on Twitter. MVP later stated that things didn’t happen as he was told.

Now that MVP is working in AEW, fans have wondered how things will play out. Fightful reported today that on the first night in AEW, MVP went to Jericho’s locker room.

Sources stated that things were hashed out and won’t be an issue in the future. MVP and Jericho have been seen interacting backstage since then. MVP reportedly was praised by those in AEW for doing so.
