New #1 Contender Determined At WWE NXT Live Event

On Saturday night, WWE NXT held a live event from the Jacksonville Armory in Jacksonville, Florida, where a #1 contender for the NXT Title was crowned.

Eddy Thorpe earned a shot at the NXT Title by winning a men’s battle royal match. It is unknown when he will receive his title match. NXT does have its next PLE set as Vengeance Day, which will take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the Entertainment and Sports Arena in Washington, D.C.

The title bout may happen then. On this past Tuesday’s NXT, Femi won the NXT Title in a triple threat match against Thorpe and Trick Williams.
